It's time we all stand for something

The Marine Corps Toys for Tots program started in 1947 and has distributed over 400 million toys to more than 180 million needy children nationwide. Today Marine Corps Reserve units across the country are responsible for collecting and distributing an average of 16 million toys to 7 million children each year at Christmas.
In 2016, the local Toys for Tots drive netted more than 12,500 toys that were distributed to more than 4,000 area children.

The organization starts collecting toys in late October and distributes them roughly two weeks before Christmas.
